Fenix Signalling shortlisted at UK RIA Awards 2018

Fenix Signalling has been named a finalist at the 2018 UK Rail Industry Association (UK RIA) Awards.

The professional engineering consultancy received a shortlisting in the Signalling & Telecommunications category of the Awards, for its work at Banbury Depot, where it provided design, installation, testing and commissioning of the depot’s new signalling control system.

Now in its fifth year, the UK Rail Industry Awards continues to bring together the leaders and decision-makers running the rail industry for the sector’s biggest and most prestigious celebration. The event recognises the hard work and achievement from the dedicated organisations, teams and individuals working tirelessly to deliver an efficient and robust rail network, which continues to be one of the safest in Europe.

To be successful in the awards, organisations are judged on criteria for four different categories- Aims and Objectives, Planning and Execution, Innovation and Creativity and Outcomes Achieved.

Craig Purcell, Managing Director of Fenix Signalling, said: “We’re very proud to have been shortlisted at the Rail Industry Association Awards, which is one of the industry’s most sought-after awards celebration.

“Fenix’s works at Banbury Deport are a source of great pride for us, as they demonstrate our wide-ranging capabilities and boasts innovations and technologies that are a first for the UK.
