Since 2016, Fenix Rail Systems has been at the forefront of bringing innovative train control systems into the UK, leveraging German technology from Pintsch depot control system and Pintsch Wolber’ (formally Rainer Wolber) point machine.
With an unmatched proven track record in delivering comprehensive control systems in some of the largest, high-profile depot and intermodal train facilities in the UK, Fenix is introducing a range of new and advanced control system technology and cost-effective depot control solutions.
This is in response to client demands for a higher safety integrity level (SIL) than we could previously supply, our new interlocking product range features SIL 3 and SIL 4 certified systems all designed specifically for depot and train facilities.
All our systems are fully compatible, which enable Fenix to continue to integrate seamlessly with any other interface (main line or DPS interlocking etc.) This includes the Pintsch Wolber point machine for which Fenix retains a long-term sole distribution agreement for the UK and Irish market. This is a significant leap forward in the depot control market for the UK and Ireland.
Looking ahead to 2024, Fenix is determined to transform and open the UK Depot Control system market, continue its growth by introducing a sophisticated selection of new train facility interlocking systems with advanced technology designed and tailored for train facilities in the UK and Ireland.
