GOSFORTH TRAIN DEPOT SUCCESSFUL COMMISSIONING

Fenix Rail Systems are delighted to advise that we have now completed the final commissioning of the depot control system at the brand-new Gosforth Train Depot. The commissioning has been hailed a major success by our client VolkerFitzpatrick on behalf of Stadler. 
 
Fenix are extremely proud to have achieved its goal in providing a cost-effective modern train control interlocking which utilises state of the art technology to control train movements within the new £70Million redeveloped train facility. 
 
Fenix would take the opportunity to thank our team supply chain partners and VolkerFitzpatrick and Stadler for affording us this fantastic opportunity. With the completion of this final stage - Fenix has an unmatched proven track record in delivering comprehensive control systems in some of the largest, high-profile depot and intermodal train facilities in UK railways.
 
Over the last few years, the company has invested in developing new integration techniques and increased its specialist knowledge specifically in train facility control. We have been planning some big changes that will open up the depot control system market in 2024 with the introduction of a new range of sophisticated control systems which are SIL4 certified.
 
Fenix would like to express our gratitude to everyone involved in making things happen and going above and beyond to complete the Gosforth commissioning on time.
