Fenix boosts technical team with strategic appointment

Fenix Signalling continues to expand and strengthen its technical capabilities, recently announcing the appointment of Geoff Clark as Head of Engineering.

Geoff’s relationship with Fenix began in early 2016, leading the testing and commissioning team that delivered the RETB project on the West Highland and Far North lines as well as commissioning the first phase of the new light maintenance depot at Banbury during the Blockade in July 2016. He continues to lead engineering for the continuing phases of this project.

Geoff’s contribution has defined him as a resilient team player on these challenging projects, becoming a key member of the Fenix team. Increasing opportunities for the company have encouraged Geoff to join the business full time.

Geoff will take responsibility for all site activities including planning stages, installation, testing and commissioning and maintenance whilst providing external resourcing options for outside clients on individual elements in the GRIP process.

Fenix’s increasing presence in the signalling market means that the company will shortly relocate its headquarters to Stratford-upon-Avon, allowing the team to expand further as demand for its consulting, engineering and resourcing services develops. The offices are being extensively remodelled to provide a modern, distinctive and flexible facility for the team of consultants, designers and engineers.
