Just in case you missed us

Fenix Signalling was featured in the September issue of Rail Engineer (page 33), highlighting how we are keen to support the newcomers to the rail industry by combining their enthusiasm with the vast experience of our senior personnel.

With a shortage of signalling engineers within the rail sector, we realised that we may need to source new talent from outside the industry, training individuals while adapting those training techniques for other companies and organisations.

Through our wider project experience and as part of a civil engineering project, we have developed unique, bespoke training packages for executive management with no previous background in railway signalling. This 1.5-day course delivers theoretical, practical and financial insight into the key issues that can de-rail a well-honed tender, leaving budgets and revenue projections in chaos.

For project delivery teams working in the civil sector – but who are still new to rail signalling – the course develops into greater detail. It navigates through the Grip 1-8 concept to commissioning stages, covering the danger of misjudging the complexities of simple works over three days, including a practical site visit.

Our investment in training and people is without doubt paying off and through the work of our elite, very highly skilled team we are already catching the eye of many of the industry’s key players.
