Business Development / Sale Manager

Fenix Rail Systems is an experienced and trusted provider of high-quality depot control systems and mainline signalling services, working on high profile depot train control infrastructure projects such as Gosforth, Feltham, Soho, Banbury and Tyseley Depots.
We are building on our 6 years of success in the UK and looking to expand our sales and business development team. We are looking for passionate people to help strengthen and grow our strategic sales by recruiting an experienced business development/sales manager.

You will join Fenix Strategic BD team and be responsible for pre contract activity within Fenix Rail Systems Ltd. Responsible for the sales performance of the business, owning and managing corporate relationships and defining and implementing strategies to achieve planned growth in existing and new market areas. We have established markets in rail depot control and conventional rail signalling and have ambitious plans to grow our market share in conventional rail and train facility infrastructure projects (specifically depot, intermodal and train port facilities).

We are working on some of the UK’s largest depot engineering projects with key clients and stakeholders such as NEXUS, Stadler, Network Rail, Transport for London and their supply chain.

Main function of job
To achieve our ambitious targets for growth, the post holder will define and implement the strategy for work winning in the conventional signalling and rail facility control system infrastructure markets. This will be implemented by identifying clear strategic pursuit priorities for funded schemes, supported with well-developed capture plans. The post holder will be responsible for identifying key accounts and managing stakeholder relationships at opportunity level. The post holder will be responsible for the sales performance in the conventional rail and infrastructure market area and will oversee the conversion of identified opportunities in to winning bids.
